Tesfa’s family originates from a small village in the southernmost part of Ethiopia near the border of Kenya. Drought, tribal conflict, and war forced the family to move from place to place and business to business to find somewhere better to call home.
I drive an hour to and from to enjoy Tesfa food and it will always be worth the drive. There's so many great things to say about this place I don't know where to begin. I feel as though with each visit it gets better and better. They recently moved and I love the new location. If you are looking for tasty flavorful Ethiopian food, in a welcoming environment look no further. Tesfa does not disappoint.
Wonderful experience!! The food was excellent and the staff was so kind. This restaurant is family owned and just the atmosphere and friendliness was so nice. From a health standpoint, they use canola oil for cooking which is one of the healthiest, and the veggie dishes were not oily at all. Each was distinctly flavorful and some were spicy as well. Injeera was spot on. Hoping to be back soon!
Excellent Ethiopian restaurant on the north side. We got the vegetarian combination platter and it was so delicious. The platter included pretty large portions as well for 3 people. The service was fast and very friendly, and the restaurant has a wide variety of nice cocktail options.
Brilliant food, great vibes, lovely staff. I highly recommend the veggie samplers and meat-veggie combos. Truly delicious & divine! I went for my birthday-don't sleep on the tiramisu for dessert!
